After many years in the Storage field, was time to get some credit. So I decided to go for the SNIA exam to get my certificate of Storage Professional (SCSP). Then I put myself on the books and I earned it.
What is SNIA?
SNIA is the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) is a non-profit organization made up of member companies spanning information technology. A globally recognized and trusted authority, SNIA’s mission is to lead the storage industry in developing and promoting vendor-neutral architectures, standards and educational services that facilitate the efficient management, movement and security of information.
Who is part of SNIA ?
EMC, Qlogic, HPE, IBM and NetApp are just some big names, members of SNIA. All major manufactures of SAN and Storage are there, so I’m honored to be SNIA certified.
